He has a love for Islamic dictatorships and terrorists.

WE have a love for Islamic dictatorships and terrorists. Saudi Arabia is our BFF and always has been, don't you know?

pervert?really? Your grasp of th English is rather rudimentary so here is the precise quote from Ron Paul

“I have received several calls and visits from constituents who, in spite of the heavy investment in their training, have been forced out of the military simply because they were discovered to be homosexual,” Paul said Friday. “To me, this seems like an awful waste. Personal behavior that is disruptive should be subject to military discipline regardless of whether the individual is heterosexual or homosexual. But to discharge an otherwise well-trained, professional, and highly skilled member of the military for these reasons is unfortunate and makes no financial sense.”

Sure, it is weak of him to chose functionality and efficiency over morality (which I would never do) but that does not make him a Pervert, thats just disingenuous. Surely, you find a word that is more apropos?

A “personal” attack against a public figure is an entirely different matter. Please show me in the FR rules where I can’t say “Ron Paul is a putz” or “Mitt Romney is a schmuck”, or “Barak Obama is an anti-American commie”

I think it violates the intent of the posting rules if not the letter, but you think different.

Be as uncivil and insulting as you feel you need to be... those of us here seeking reasoned debate will just avoid you.

As I said, as a supporter of Dr. Paul, I don't feel the need to insult his detractors and the RINOs and Neocons they support, because events of the last 10 years or so have pretty much vindicated what the good doctor has been saying the last 30-40 years, at least as far as I'm concerned, on both his domestic and foreign policy positions.

By the way, barak osama is a anti-American commie, as well as a muslim illegal alien, whitey-hating racist scumbag - those are facts, not insults.

What do you think of this proposal?

I don't think any pubbie with a realistic chance at being elected prez in 2012 could form a strong alliance with Dr. Paul without hurting his/her chances at this time - he's been so maligned for so long now, and is in such disagreement with mainstream pubbie positions in some areas, that I think it would hurt their chances.

That being said, this could change over the next 2 years if conditions keep getting worse domestically and overseas.

Palin would have to convince me she'd do right on the issue of the criminal alien invasion/colonization of this nation, as well as change her stated positions on foreign policy - the last election was so bad (for us) that people have forgotten that the McCain/Palin ticket was openly advocating confrontation with Russia over the Georgia/South Ossetia conflict.

Bad enough they were advocating another idiotic war, but they were advocating joining the wrong side too. Confront a nuclear-armed power, on their own border and on the other side of the planet from us, in a conflict we had no strategic interests in, just so Georgia could attack, occupy and subjugate a people who wanted to be free and independent? Scary.

Lastly, I don't support high public office for military figures these days - you don't reach high rank in the US military today without being a backstabbing, power-hungry politician, but without the decades of participation in the civilian political process having a moderating effect on the actions you'd be willing to take in pursuing and maintaining power.

On the plus side of your proposal, what could be worse than what we have now?

And by the way, Ron Paul is an Israel-hating, Islamofacist-loving useful idiot of the One World Domination Leftists.

Most so-called Conservatives are not going to go for Dr. Paul’s isolationist non-interventionist views on foreign policy.
