SNIPPET: “A man who was arrested in Glasgow last week in connection with a bombing in Stockholm has appeared in court, Ezeddeen Al Khaledi, 30, appeared in private at a hearing lasting just over 30 minutes at Glasgow Sheriff Court.”
SNIPPET: “He was charged with eight offences including three under the Terrorism Act (2000).
Among those, he is accused of providing money to Taimour Abdulwahab al-Abdaly, a suicide bomber who was found dead following two explosions in a busy shopping centre in Stockholm, the Swedish capital, in December 2010.
He is also accused of opening bank accounts with Lloyds TSB, the Post Office, Halifax Bank of Scotland and Santander and possessing money with the intention that it might be used for the purposes of terrorism.
The nursing student at North Glasgow College is also accused of immigration offences including pretending to be a Kuwaiti national and by deception seeking asylum in the UK.”
