Is this a jump at the national level or is it local? Meaning did we just gain 2 more seats in the Congress or is it a sign at the local level that the masses are awakening? Either way, it's good. Many blacks would not fit the definition of RINO given the choice on social issues. As long as they identify as "RAT" 99% of African Americans will go along with the parties stand on abortion and gays and many other issues. But given the opportunity to identify as they REALLY feel (I know this because I have taught in inner city high schools for 15+ years) you'll find them extremely devout and they more than likely will go along with all the other parts of conservative ideology. In fact once they truly understand and internalize the concepts I think you'll be amazed at the changes. For instance, it is not unusual for my students to finish their assignments for me and whip out a heavily bookmarked and underlined Bible for a little impromptu "study" in class with some other friends. I support that 100% ! Better a Bible than a gun as also happened last week in my school.
