This won’t last long. I and many others have abandoned NetFlix because they have abandoned Blu-ray and are trying to force their subscribers into their crappy streaming service.

Blockbuster is making a comeback (never thought I would say that).

If you are a big deal NY Times columnist these days like Maureen Dowd or Paul Krugman..... I don’t think you are getting paid much compared to five years ago. The money just isn’t there to pay you

You are wise for selling. THeir business model is about to go belly up. They don’t own “the last mile” of content delivery - cable/telecomms do, and soon they will start charging Netflix because Netflix is around 20+% of after-hours traffic. Also, it would take little money for cable/telecomms to deliver movies the same way using their own lines.
Netflix’ CFO just booked when their stock hit their peak around 220 or so. He knew it was fantasyland for the long-term. This will be the shortest run a company ever had in the S&P500.

Delivery, yes. Distribution rights, no.

Distribution rights fees are rising rapidly. What cost a few $million a couple of years ago are now costing a couple of $hundred-million.
