A lot of “foreign” cars are built in the US. My Acura was built in Marysville, Ohio.

For about the 10,000th time. These Cars are "assembled" here in the US. Most of the jobs created by the Japanese and others are low-tech final assembly. Many people are foolish enough to believe working for Toyota is no different from working at GM or Ford.

WRONG.

This is what a lot of very stupid and foolish people have been led to believe. Only the most naive and foolish people believe it's not essential have have domestic companies building our major transportation vehicles.

And those low tech assembly jobs are better or worse than the final assembly GM does in Mexico?

Screw GM, I wouldn’t buy a new one unless they were giving them away.
