MESA - Mesa Police seized $300,000 worth of drugs and arrested more than a dozen suspects in a bust last week. The suspects are accused of running a drug trafficking ring with the help of employees from the Motor Vehicle Department.

The 4-month investigation culminated in 13 arrests.

Jose Marisca is a suspected illegal immigrant accused of running a major drug trafficking ring in the valley.

Court records show that agents seized hundreds of pounds of marijuana, cocaine, and meth from Marisca's home -- worth about $300,000 on the street.

Jesus Rubio was also arrested. He is accused of conspiring to conceal a drug-related homicide, smuggling large amounts of drugs across the border, money laundering, and setting up bank accounts under multiple names.

Court records show that Rubio obtained fake drivers licenses from shady MVD employees.

I guess this was inevitable after so many of them were caught selling driver’s licenses to illegal aliens. The state put an end to that racket so they had to come up with something else.

Arizonans voted “No” for Georgie Soros’ “medicinal” marijuana scheme at the polls in the daylight. Then, from out of the darkness came the “provisional” ballots cast by these guys. The pushers pushed “medicinal” marijuana over the top here. Illegal aliens with driver’s licenses purchased from corrupt and crooked dickweeds down at the local MVD office. The Motor Voter Fraud Act don’t ya know.

Arizona is one of the States that has opted out of REAL ID, even thought threatened with all sorts of federal sanctions for refusing to adopt this national ID card.

If this had taken place in a REAL ID State, having one of these fake driver’s licenses would have been like a national “all access” pass to these criminals. As it would be to terrorists.

Something weird about this article...hundreds of pounds of marijuana and other drugs would be worth more than $300,000 on the street, wouldn’t it? I read one marijuana plant at maturity is worth a couple of grand....and with meth, and cocaine, too I would think the value would be in the seven figures....just wondering....

We’re in a recession here in Arizona - street values have dropped dramatically. :)
