Sarah Steelman on Wednesday announced plans to run for the U.S. Senate. The former state treasurer and state senator — who ran unsuccessfully for governor in 2008 — could face former U.S. Sen. Jim Talent in the GOP primary in 2012.

Current Senator Claire McCaskill is braindead, an empty suit, an insult to the great state of Missouri. This seat is a Pubbie pickup with ease. It is amazing to me that such a dumb and ill informed moron like McCaskill could ever be elected by anyone with half a brain in their head!!! Sad, sad for our country and sad for the citizens of Missouri!!! I would not let this woman take out my family garbage, that is how incompetent and ill prepared she is!!!
