The bake sales at my daughter’s elementary school have already been impacted by the nut allergy people. I call them the nutzis, resulting in looks of reproach from my dw. Now the high and mighty government wants to get their nose in it? Damned bureaucratic busybodies.

I solve this by dropping off some boxes of Ghiridelli brownie mix. Parents could buy it from the bake sale and make it when they wanted. And if they didn’t want to eat something then, it’s still good.
