Time for these people to destroy our military.
That’s it. Do to military benefits what they’ve already done to work related insurance benefits. My company will cover co-habitating queers but not co-habitating heteros.
I just read that domestic partners do not get military benefits because the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act is still in effect. The federal government is bound by it and cannot recognize domestic partners. They will still be able to get military housing. However, if the DemonRATs wanted to ram changes in the Defense of Marriage Act in this lame duck session, this is where a dramatic change could happen. And if the “don’t ask, don’t tell” provision is repealed, it would set the stage for changes in the Marriage Act. It would also open up domestic partnership benefits to all federal employees.
Can you imagine what this will all cost the taxpayers?
