I have to disagree about why Bush didn’t make a lot of noise about Obama. What Republican president has ever criticized his successor and why would Bush be any different? He didn’t defend himself enough while he was in office!
Obama surely must realize that if Bush could be prosecuted by an international entity, he would also be subject to the same possibility. Obama has also seen the polls that are trending upwards about Bush and does not want to face what will happen to his own numbers were he to turn a two-term president over to foreigners. The I-can-pummel-my-sibling-but-don’t-you-dare factor.
