It’s true that they are not indigenous predators, but the indigenous predators are gone from the scene. When’s the last time you spotted a mink?

We have fisher cats and coyotes in our yard. We also have feral cats, but they disappear from time to time.

When’s the last time you spotted a mink?

Late last winter on my early morning run in rural western Champaign County, Illinois. Wasn't a very good predator anymore since he was road kill. Out in the middle of farm country, not much in the way of water for 3-4 miles any direction.
