Somewhat related to this thread but not exactly is a question that came up as I read the title -— why do they call the day after Thanksgiving BLACK Friday ( and why do the racial hustlers not complain about it )?
Relates to accounting. Imagine an accounting ledger where losses are in red ink and profits are in black. The sales on this day have been said to put the retailers in the black. (Profits)
