For the second week in a row, Republicans hold a five-point lead over Democrats on the Generic Congressional Ballot for the week ending Sunday, November 21, 2010. This is the smallest gap between the two parties since the beginning of October.
New Rasmussen Reports polling finds that 44% of Likely Voters nationwide would vote for their districts Republican congressional candidate, while 39% prefer the Democrat.

This is meaningless. Heck, the new Congress hasn’t even started. Sheesh!!!!
Don’t know how true this poll is, but if valid it’s amazing that, as horrible as the Demonrats have been, they still hold 39% of the electorate in thrall.
The actual Congressional ballot (combined) in Mass. on Nov. 2
was 100 per cent Democrat, 0 per cent Republican. We may lose a seat in the next redistricting; hopefully we’ll lose two.
This is meaningless, but in every online Electoral Vote caluclator I’ve seen, the generic Republican Challenger needs 9.6% vote swing to Republican to win enough EVs to win the election.
The Republicans only got about 8.8% swing between 2008 and 2010 in this election.
Sirius? I thought we were done with these for a while!
