...it applies to Negros who were farming during the covered time period...or...any Negro who was “THINKING ABOUT” going into farming.

....I’m not kidding...any black who even thought about farming gets the dough.

*** Jones talks about “broken treaties” with N/A. However, if it comes from the mouth of Van Jones, you know it’s suspect. ***

I agree on Jones.
But the Indians getting robbed really is true.

iirc it was during Dubya's 1st term that there was a Congressional Investigation into the Books of the Bureau of Indian affairs (or maybe Land Management?). Billions of dollars in royalties owed had just 'disappeared'. They showed the money coming in, but not going out - it just 'wasn't there' any longer due to accounting gimmicks.(1)

as to Jones: Van Jones is a prime example of the problem with Communists. They'll take one bit of truth and stretch it until the end doesn't resemble the beginning. BUT, it has that sliver of truth they hope make 'the masses' swallow the whole lie.

(1) And these weren't the 'made up' Indian Tribes who connive just to open a casino. It was the likes of the Sioux, Blackfeet, Crow, Cheyenne, etc. REAL Indian tribes of 'the old west'.

Here’s a reform idea for when the GOP takes the Senate in 2012: how about making all Senators go on the record for all votes? Is that really too much to ask?

Those scenes of early westerns where the settlers were hiding behind their waggons drawn in a circle while firing at a horde of surrounding savages armed with new repeating rifles is about to be updated. It will be bands of caucasians hiding behind their electric cars drawn in a circle while firing at a horde of surrounding minorities armed with their discrimination lawyers.

Regardless of any and all of the validity of these claims, I can confidently predict one thing - within a year there will be a new group of claimants protesting that they did not get their share or proper share. This is “feeding the hole” and there is never enough money to make victims whole but once fed, they are always hungry for more!

I am sure they thought about it. Or at least thought about a way to get out of doing any work.

.

This is what the Marxist/Muslim has done with American tax dollars while Americans lose their jobs and homes:

Obama’s 2009Supplemental Appropriations for Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Pandemic Flu was revised and “passed by the full committee.” Not sure what the next step is, but based on the summary, it gives billions http://creepingsharia.wordpress.com/2009/05/13/obamas-supplemental-bill-passes-gives-billions-to-enemies/
of U.S. taxpayer dollars to countries and entities that support Sharia law and/or harbor, hide and support those who want to destroy the U.S. and our allies.

Read the summary from David Obey’s office that was quietly released last week with nary a word from any media.
• $3.6 billion, matching the request, to expand and improve capabilities of the Afghan security forces
• $400 million, as requested, to build the counterinsurgency capabilities of the Pakistani security forces
• Afghanistan: $1.52 billion, $86 million above the request
• West Bank and Gaza: $665 million in bilateral economic, humanitarian, and security assistance for the West Bank and Gaza
• Jordan: $250 million, $250 million above the request, including $100 million for economic and $150 million for security assistance
• Egypt: $360 million, $310 million above the request, including $50 million for economic assistance, $50 million for border security, and $260 million for security assistance
• Pakistan: $1.9 billion, $591 million above the request
• Iraq: $968 million, $336 million above the request
• Oversight: $20 million, $13 million above the request, to expand oversight capacity of the State Department, USAID, and the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan to review programs in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq
• Lebanon: $74 million
• International Food Assistance: $500 million, $200 million above the request, for PL 480 international food assistance to alleviate suffering during the global economic crisis
• Refugee Assistance: $343 million, $50 million above the request, …including humanitarian assistance for Gaza. Funding for the UN Relief and Works Agency programs in the West Bank and Gaza is limited to $119 million (Note: Gaza = Hamas)
• Disaster Assistance: $200 million to avert famines and provide life-saving assistance during natural disasters and for internally displaced people around the world, including Somalia, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, the Middle East and South Asia
• Peacekeeping: $837 million for United Nations peacekeeping operations, including an expanded mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and a new mission in Chad and the Central African Republic
• Department of Justice: $17 million, matching the request, for counter-terrorism activities and to provide training and assistance for the Iraqi criminal justice system
The mainstream media remains silent on this but the International News has now picked up the story http://www.thenews.com.pk/top_story_detail.asp?Id=22164
— and then there is Obama’s $108 billion IMF bailout scheme http://michellemalkin.com/2009/05/13/obamas-100-billion-imf-bailout-scheme/
in addition to the Supplemental.

Sad thing is all this money is just killing them off one by one.

The govt money based system came to the villages up here in the 60's and it has really destroyed Indians as a people. Village life centers around the booze in many places. There are some Indians who don't drink, but many more suffer years of hard livin from alcohol. The related social condition caused by the alcohol is even worse. They are dying out as a people. 100 years back, there were over 400 Indians in our village, now 28 remain.

I figure it's the same in the inner city ghettos,

At least we'll never see another African American Pres elected. I still can't figure how so many voted for him in the first place.

I have always asked this question.............how, w/ ALL of the gambling money are reservations in such horrible shape???????????? It just makes no sense. Something is going on..............

This is why I am becoming a conservative.......hardworking people like my family are getting checked out by the IRS, while the district where I teach have whole families that just seem to hang out all day and we pay. One day my brain just snapped awake.................

Well I guess in that I'm adopted and even though I appear to be causasian my ole birth Momma lived in Chicago it is only reasonable that if she didn't lay with some ole black bum they probably thought about laying with her and then I grew up on a farm. Looks like I may be in the "chips"...

” Will some sort of proof be required to show that someone actually farmed? Or that one is actually a recognized Native American tribe? This could merely be a payoff. Oh, wait! “

Payoff??
