Two new voting machines were located last night in Buffalo, according to Sen.-elect Mike Gianaris, a Democratic attorney helping his party’s efforts in ballot counting.
Incumbent Democratic Sen. Antoine Thompson trails GOP challenger Mark Grisanti by 821 votes, but Gianaris said the new voting machines and how they’ve been handled are a “total disaster” and “complete mess,” adding that lawyers for Thompson are considering legal action that might force a complete recount of paper ballots optically scanned by the machines.
This would involve an amount of paper not seen in 50 years; elections in recent New York history have until this year been conducted with mechanical voting machines, not electronic machines that scan paper ballots. Such a recount would take a long time, to the dismay of people hoping the Senate will be clearly decided before January, when it is set to reconvene.
“It puts a cloud over the whole process,” Gianaris said of the machine irregularities. “And how we handle this is going to set the tone for around the state.”

Probably just manufactured in a local Dem machine shop. That’s why they couldn’t be found before. Came complete with 10,000 Dem votes and zero Rep votes.
And this is how communists “win” elections. You “find” machines and bags of ballots all over the place. Nobody has custody of them, they’re just laying around. So what if the ballots are fraudulent, the more “votes” the better. This joint has become WORSE than a banana republic.
Ever notice that bags of ballots, and voting machines are never found that benefit REPUBLICANS?
Unfortunately due to a mix-up the machines contained 921 votes for Al Franken. Elections officials are standing by for the finding of two more voting machines.
I woulld get banned for life if explained to stop this practice once and for all.
.. i was wondering where i left my voting machines.. I mean seriously, do these things just appear out of thin air? To suggest something is found would mean that it had to be lost first, pretty sure there isnt a story about lost voting machines anywhere.
We should just generate thousands of bags of dem votes and make the farce so huge that it becomes ridiculous. Put em on buses, throw em into the streets, stick them under the wiper blades of parked cars...etc..LoL
Yelling voter fraud never seems to work so maybe comedy will help.
This is what happened in Florida 2000. Votes for Gore just seemed to magically appear with every recount.
Dems have been playing these tricks for a long time.
They say that King County Washington sold their old used voting machines to Idaho a few years ago, but they had to take them back and refund the money because every time Idaho used them Christine Gregoire was elected governor.
Exactly. One would think that there’s a log of the available machines, where they’re stored, assigned to on Election Day and when they’re processed. If they aren’t where they’re supposed to be when the counting begins, they don’t get counted.
How often do Senate-elects get involved in counting other politician’s ballots? Shouldn’t Gianaris be busy getting his senatorial act together?
Isn't it just amazing how in recounts the 'rats seem to find a bag of ballots here, a voting machine there... I mean, wow. Isn't anyone accountable for these things? Me thinks these turning up just when they do stinks. I'd like to see the stats on the breakdown of votes ('rat vs GOP) in these "found" ballots and machines vs the rest of the votes cast in the districts. I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts these extra "found" ballots and machines have a significantly higher percentage of votes cast for 'rats in them than any other (legal) vote collections in the district.
I'd go for that. Far too many cases of more votes turning up in districts than they have registered voters. Time to leave a few despots and cheaters swinging from the nearest tree. What's the phrase... "A short drop followed by a sudden stop." Those that would usurp life and liberty deserve neither.
