"The question that still must be answered is why NORAD's muted response was simply that North America was not threatened, and later our government approved the lame excuse that the picture recorded was simply an aircraft leaving a contrail," said retired U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Jim Cash.

A former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot and commander of an F-15 squadron and an F-16 wing, Cash was assigned to NORAD as an assistant director of operations at the Cheyenne Mountain complex near Colorado Springs, Colo., and is fully knowledgeable of NORAD procedures.

"There is absolutely no doubt that what was captured on video off the coast of California was a missile launch, was clearly observed by NORAD, assessed by a four-star general in minutes, and passed to the president immediately," he said.

OMG.

This was *not* a missile.

It's taking down Beck, and several otherwise reputable generals.

Geez, you'd think the guy who supposedly built a software time machine would be the most gullible idiot on FR...and yet I'm the cynic.

If it was a missile, why was it seen only from due east? Why was it not observed from the north or the south? It would have been visible miles up and down the coast. And the northerly and southerly observers would have seen it streaking up from the ocean heading west.

But if it were an aircraft contrail, it would have looked just like a regular old horizontal contrail from the north and south.

Can’t say I blame ‘em for playing with the wimp overseeing the most powerful nation in the world. America voted for a class A loser, community organizer, that has no leadership ability whatsoever.

Why are we bringing up this tired story again?

If it was a ballistic missile, the contrail would steak almost straight up at very high speed, vanish at around 100,000 feet, and you would see "tearing" of the contrail at various altitudes from wind sheer. Since the contrail traveled really slowly and had NONE of the characteristics I mentioned, that right there rules out any type of ballistic missile.

Ok here is all you need to know.

It was a sub launched missile. We tried to shoot it down with a PAC2 - missed and the missile changed course. A week or so later we allegedly have an F-22 crash in Alaska. No pilot has been found. Oddly enough the position is about 3500 miles from LA well within the 5,000 mile estimated published range of a Chi-com sub-launched JuLang2.

Mysterious Governemt trucks have been reported in WASILLA BEFORE the F-22 crash here on FR. When asked why they were there a ANG “soldier” responded that they were on exercises in Cantwell.

To: RC one You read my mind. In addition I stumbled upon a large group of vehicles yesterday morning in Wasilla. All of them were unmarked large panel vans with some pulling unmarked trailers. Some had elaborate satellite mechanisms on top. Must have been about a dozen in all. What makes it really strange they were In a Church parking lot and no one had asked for permission to use it. They all carried US government license plates. One man came out and said they were staging for an exercise and were part of the Alaska guard. He was not wearing any uniform I am familiar with. Seemed pretty odd to me that a government exercise would be using a secluded church parking lot to stage an operation of this sort. This suggested the church had been chosen in advance by someone who had thought this out. Now an F 22 goes down without any explanation a week after missiles are spotted off our west coast. My antenna’ s are up and we are getting nervous. 21 posted on Thursday, November 18, 2010 00:39:19 by strongbow [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 8 | View Replies | Report Abuse] --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If Farah says it’s a missile, that proves it’s a plane.

Indeed, the Federal Aviation Administration documents that there were no aircraft flying in the area at that time, the night of Nov. 8.

BS. Farah lost whatever tiny shred of credibility he may have had with this pile of dung.

I am sad people are so gullible and have such twisted perceptions of reality that they cannot tell a vapor trail from a missile launch.

The world is going insane.

If I’m not mistaken, this missile shot was about 30 - 40 miles fro Vandenburg Air Force Base, home of half of our missile interceptors. If the CHinese are able to get a sub within 40 miles of VanDenBurg, and Fort Greeley, our supposed missile defense systems are of no use. They would be nuked before they ever knew what hit them. The Chinese have done us a huge favor in finding a major flaw in our system, without having had to pay a substantial price. I hope the Navy gets with the program, and the Air Force and is better able to detect these subs. Moreover, perhaps it is time to rethink the idea of only two locations for our missile shield interceptors.
