Interesting statement from a member of a branch of government that typically is regarded as lacking just those qualities with regard Presidential candidacy. The American people in their collective wisdom, generally don’t elect senators to the highest executive branch the country offers. That distinction would belong to Governors, a position that Sarah Palin has filled, while Murkowski hasn’t, so as Bette Midler said to George Costanza on Seinfeld, get some talent, then you can shoot your mouth off...
Murkowski has never suggested she wants to run for president, and Palin did not finish her term as governor. Surely there are better candidates out there, and I would like to hear more from the people of Alaska about these two.
