Encouraged by what Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger called clean energy's "greatest referendum in history," California officials are pushing ahead with a new greenhouse gas accord with developing foreign countries.
Schwarzenegger today launched the third Governors' Global Climate summit at the University of California, Davis, saying this month's landslide defeat of Proposition 23, an oil industry backed initiative to roll back the state's landmark climate change law, shows broad support among voters for climate change initiatives.
"I hope that our success encourages you to fight and keep fighting and fighting because science is on our side, the economics is on our side and the people are on our side," he said.

What a twit Arnold has proven to be..
What a Moonbat.
I thought a State couldn’t make international treaties.
Lordy, all of these smarter than thou and not a brain among them.
Any chance this asshat will go back to Austria?
Hollywood is one of the BIGGEST polluters...START THERE!! Let’s see how far it will go!!
All those steroids really messed him up, didn’t they. Wow.
You see, my dear FRiends, Arnold is hawking our Golden State's economic future in exchange for his own.
He is sniveling up to the lefty/lib/Marxist Hollywood crowd, so as to be accepted and to be given some blockbuster film rolls.
Just call it an "agreement" instead. Nothing to it.
Someone send in a Predator after his ass!
Made his nuts dissolve or something.
This is coming from an a%^&ole who rides to work exclusively in Chevy Tahoes and private jets while his wife parks her Cadillac Escalade in the no parking zone.
Seriously, I do think the roids affected his brain. He does not look healthy.
I don’t live there but I feel sorry for the decent people that live there.
I distinclty remember certain people saying, “vote for Arnie, he’s a REPUBLICAN ... yeah I know he’spro choice ... but he’sa REPUBLICAN!”
He might as well have run as a Demoncrat. He has left the state worse off than when he started.
No...his wife and inlaws did. They are Kennedys....remember?
Too bad Robert Patrick didn’t kill him off in T2.
Who Cares? After the mid-terms, California has proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are hopeless and worthless!
He is less than worthless
Folks need to remember who endorsed this putz way back when and how he came to power... Talking heads that preach conservatism but usually give more airtime to moderates. Being vetted by Buffett and a Rothschild didn’t instill much confidence the interests of Califonria were being looked after.. but when yur blowing smoke..
