You wonder, though, if part of it is just for TV. I mean, they guy knew the cameras were there, so reality does not always mean real.

Then it was STUPID tv.
Now... GREAT tv would have been watching him sneak up the stairs
hearing the sound of a rifle round being chambered off-camera
watching him freeze
and do an immediate 180.
THAT would have been GREAT.
