It’s just a Klingon battle cruiser de-cloaking in the atmosphere...probably looking for some humpback whales to re-populate 24th century earth.

I grew up in Far Rockaway. JFK Airport sits right across Rockaway, separated by Jamaica Bay. With LaGuardia Airport & Liberty International (Formerly Newark International)relatively nearby, contrails are a common sight in the Rockaways. Looks like a plane to me, imho.
