To: Vendome

I recall an article (excerpt form a book?) where it had quotes from Iraqi leaders in the war. They were not afraid of the Americans, even as we massed along the border.

They “knew” that as soon as we crossed over, the chemical warheads, etc. that the other divisions had would be put to good use. I think it was even Iraqi generals that believed this. (Of course Saddam always told them it was always the “other Divison” that had the WMD).

The generals were baffled and confused as to why the WMD were not used. Probably that confusion helped us win in such short order - they were counting on the WMD too much.

We won because we are the United States of America.

We did end runs and Blitzed our way to Saddam’s home.

By skipping past many Iraqi troops and going on to more important objectives, we cut them off from supplies and communication.

They weren’t going to win nothing.

We had air superiority, We own the night, We have superior comms, best training, best ability to range an enemy better weapons and snapier uniforms.
