If soon-to-be-ousted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is known for her steely smile and composure, her replacement, John Boehner, has a reputation for tearing up.
It starts with a quaver in the Ohio Republican's voice. Then there's a pregnant pause as he tries — usually unsuccessfully — to keep his feelings in check. Soon, he's choking out words in a rush of emotion, shaking his head and waving his hands as he tries to pull himself together.
It happened most recently when Boehner took his first turn on stage after Republicans seized control of the House in the midterm elections

I'm good with that. I always fast forward through Glenn Beck's meltdowns. They make me uncomfortable.
All I can say is I’d rather have a speaker who HAS a heart and can show emotion then that ice cold *itch we’ve had to endure the past 5 years!
He broke up because he remembered the crappy jobs of his youth. Then he realized that he is now the most powerful Republican in the country, 2nd in line to the Presidency, right after VP Biden.

I want someone who has feelings, emotion and a heart...Pelosi is botoxed so tight she probably has difficulty sitting down...I will be so glad to see her phony, forced smile disappear, and just think of the $$$money saved without that jet going across country every week...
It was actually fine with me to see that the man cares, on some deeper level, about this nation saved at the very brink of the abyss.
And when Obama won,, weren’t tears in vogue?

When conservatives do it they see it as an affront to their implied monopoly on feelings. Because for Conservatives to have feelings undermines their talking point that all Conservatives are unfeeling uncaring monsters.
