I think Nelson will retire and not run for reelection. He knows trying get reelected with Obama at the top of the ticket in 2012 will be almost impossible. I think there will be several Democrat Senators retiring in 2012 either voluntarily or involuntarily.

True, Obama will not carry Florida in 2012. We went from being a purple state to a deep red this year. I don't see that changing in 2012.
