Jim Costa (Dem) 33,936 49.5% Andy Vidak (Rep) 34,584 50.5%

Kamala D. Harris (Dem) 3,581,250 45.6% Steve Cooley (Rep) 3,625,308 46.1%

Jerry McNerney (Dem) 88,328 47.7% David Harmer (Rep) 87,780 47.4%

TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS:
tending looks bad for Harmer as McNerney seems to be out pacing him with Mail In Ballots...Same with Vidak through no updates since the 3rd from King country which Vidak carried by 10,000 votes..

It looking about over in the AG race is Alamada country update and did not boost Harris any. It looks like Cooley is going to have about 100,000 vote win when it all said and done.

A Cooley win would be a real bright spot, as the AG is extremely powerful in CA.

Wow, I thought the AG race was over. Good news that a Republican won something in California. Harris is horribly anti-business and would have only made the economic environment in California much worse than it already is.

Steve Cooley will be the most powerful Republican in the state, which ain’t saying much. It is amazing how far we have fallen since 1988.We have no one in the bullpen and we are getting shelled

The AG is the next highest profile state job after gov and writes the props, so Cooley will be valuable in that role. I’m just thankful re-districting is coming and won’t be decide by the dims in Sacto and their willing accomplices in the GOP who sacrificed any hope of getting a majority in exchange for safe seats.
