If he expected the outcome, why has he been whining about how it just wasn’t explained to the dumb electorate well enough?

Think about this statement very carefully. In one sense we haven’t won anything yet. The Dems just expanded government vastly between Obamacare and a bunch of other things they did, including a truly massive increase in spending. They lost one house of Congress because of it. We have two years for them to try to preserve this victory and hope America turns against Republicans.

We can’t focus so much on the game of winning Congress—it has to result in something. That something is getting rid of government. We had a “Republican” Congress and president in the early part of the decade and we got Bush’s “No Child Left Behind” and “Free Drugs for Seniors.” What would happen if the new Republican Congress tried to repeal them? We keep moving to the Left.

Yeah, right!

Truth is, he thought he'd be loved forever by the masses!

He didn't have a clue!

What a comforting statement to all the Dems who fell on their swords for this clown. I love it.

This is a guy who has a political tin ear. But we’ve known that ever since he lost two off year elections in 2009 and then the MA special election in February of this year. But he still refused to change course. For the election outcome, he has no one to blame but himself.

The why did you pass it...you idiot? You deliberately went against the will of the people...and I'm betting it was in part, "A stake in the heart Hillary thing"....

After all..in a million years, neither Hillary or Bubba would have thought she could lose to a black, inexperienced nincompoop.

Obama: I made the decision to go ahead and do it. And it proved as costly politically as we expected. But I had no choice — it was either listen to the will of the people and back off or go forward and I get my name in the history books for health care and then some.

Interviewer: So you did it to get your name in the history books.

Obama: Well, yes. But it was more than just that. The people are too busy being provincial and thick headed — clinging to religion and guns. This was a teachable moment, they could have learned something.

Interviewer: Are you an elitist?

Obama: Yes, of course. But I’m cool too and that makes all the difference.

“Obama: “I made the decision to go ahead and do it. And it proved as costly politically as we expected, probably actually a little more costly than we had expected politically””

Proof that he DOES GET IT.....and doesn’t care because he thinks his agenda is better.

Republican leaders in the House and Senate wanted the healthcare bill to pass and aided in that happening.

If Obamacare, which is now the law of the land, is not repealed, Obama wins: we become a socialist state. Pretty simple: Get rid of that monstrosity, or Obama will written into the history books by leftist professors as the third most important president after their first two most important: Lincoln and FDR. We have not won anything.

Sounded to me that he thought that Messaging was the problem, not policy.

He wanted to sell us this used Yugo - a great wonderful car - but he couldn’t get us all to appreciate the trim package because he didn’t have enough publicity and enough cooperation from competing dealers.

If only he had told the story better...Then we’d be behind him.

Whether he gets it or not - he surely is one arrogant SOB.

Cheney was right. He’s a godsend for conservatives.

Imagine if he actually had focused like a laserbeam on job? If he had made any progress at all, last Tuesday might not have happened.

He has no idea how wrong he is. It’s our fault because we’re too stupid to see his brilliance.

Obama did not suffer anything. He and Pelousy going in knew they were going to lose any of the moderate, somewhat, democrats. They got their wish list over the backs of their syncophant followers. Just like the true commies they are, they sacrafice OTHERS to achieve their ends.

Yep, DeMint was right.

How could anything so wonderful and glorious as Obamacare possibly cost a person politically?
