Comcast was looking for an excuse to get out from under Olbermann’s outrageous 4 year $30 million contract.
Comcast is not in control yet;;;deal should close next year.
Hes been at war with Griffin for a long time.
How about this quote from Olbermann, oh, say a year ago: "Griffin thinks he's my boss."
What could be more humorous than MSNBC pretending to be non-biased and honest in its reporting. Do they actually think they are KIDDING anyone?
He now has unlimited quality time to spend with Mr Fluffypants.
They could replace him with Ben Affleck, he has him down.

All the leftist toe sucking Trotskites will be happy now that their florescent neotube sugar god will be resurrected from the trash bin of history.
I bet he defecated in the blue room right before a Republican guest was going to enter.
This guy is loony, election night may have broke the man’s mind.
If that's true, he was likely suspended for other reasons and MSNBC is doing him a favor for making this excuse. Do the Huffies really want to know what he was suspended for?
Actually its only half of the truth. The policy does not prohibit making donations to political candidates but DOES call for giving prior notice and gaining approval for such donations.
Mr. Olberman failed to either notify or gain approval for these donation and as such was in violation of the stated policy.
Attempts by the liberal community to make "morally relative" comparisons to donations made by Republicans, have to omit this little nugget of truth in order to make their case.
And for all those that wish to make some silly comment about "violation of Free Speech" I would remind you that those protection are specifically written to limit the power of "Government" and are not intended to apply to private citizens or corporations as it pertains to placing limits on "free speech" with regards to their employees.
Mr. Olberman remains free to donate to the candidates of his choice. He simply will not be allowed to do so as a "employee" of MSNBC.
Ed Schultz must be outraged.
Who’s Keith Olbermann?
First they kicked Olbermann off their Sunday Night Football commentary (it was nuts to ever put him there), and now this. I thought when I first read about it that the contribution thing was just an excuse to get him off the air because MSNBC’s general nuttiness puts a limit on the size audience they can ever hope to have.
They’ll probably trying to reduce their far left nuttiness content a little.
Kick MSNBC off the air and make them do their own laundry for a week. Divide it into piles starting with Chrissy (What’s that smell coming up my leg..) and ending with Maddow’s (What’s that discharge from my prick..)
I love it when we have the occasional troll sign up on F.R. and writes a vanity about his free speech rights on Jim Robinson's property.
A high NBC official{also known as a head man}, said that he thought or felt or believed that someone at msnbc was having sex with the NBC peacock.
No names were made pubic, butt, it is known within secret NBC circle, jerks, that oberwoman was seen with a peacock feather tickling chrissy's leg.
NBC policy does not prohibit employees from donating to political candidates.
IF true NBC fired him for other reasons.
It may hinge on disclosure.
I think...whatever Rush thinks.
Not that I can’t think for myself but Rush is the media expert here. I want victory for conservatism not necessary revenge. With that in mind there’s no dishonor in deferring to expert advice. So if KO’s buffoonery is a good thing...
