NEWS FLASH: The reason that calendar ends with 2012? They came to the end of the rock they were chiseling on and called it quits.
That may be truer than most of us realize. The Mayan Calendar, for whatever it’s worth, ends one cycle in 2012, it in no way predicts the end of the world. From what little I know about these things.
It means 2012 is the beginning of the next cycle. Hmmmmm...
