In the nations last undecided Senate race, national Republicans are coming to the aide of tea party favorite Joe Miller, and will ask supporters to help pay for his post-election legal fight against incumbent GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski.
Murkowski appears to be leading Miller by a wide margin in her write-in bid, but National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman John Cornyn will e-mail supporters Friday and urge them to make donations to Millers campaign.
Joe Miller in Alaska is dedicated to the conservative principals we need in Washington DC. But he faces the potential of a lengthy recount. And in Alaska, they are still counting votes from election day. We need to get Joe the resources he needs to win the vote count, the Texas Republican says in the e-mail, asking recipients to make donations of $100, $75, $50 or even $25 to help ensure that this vote count is conducted fairly.
Both sides are beginning to lawyer up and prepare for any possible legal fights. Joe needs your help to make sure he has enough money to make it a fair contest, Cornyn adds in the e-mail.

I thought the NRSC threw thier support at Murkowski!
Credit goes to Mark Levin.
He is an idiot but has a high enough IQ to not totally ignore Levin. Apparently he forgot to say how much he and the other DC RINO’s are contributing to help Joe.
This can only mean Lisa has a lock on the race.
sounds like somebody got skeered that they might face a primary challenge down the road in 12 or 14, whenever it is.
He should challenge the entire write-in system and kick out every write-in vote.
It could also mean Cornyn has seen the power of the Tea Party and doesn’t want to be its next target.
The statute does not say that, the legislature did not intend that, and if they did it would be an unconstitutional disenfranchisement.
We don't have literacy tests.
No lawyer would believe this interpretation was constitutional, but Miller being a former government lawyer, who cheated and lied when caught, would ignore the constitution if doing so would put him in the Senate, even though more people voted for someone else.
So did you write in Lisa?
mitch just wants to funnel more to murcowb!tch.
LLS
The Senate Conservatives Fund just emailed me asking for recount donation.
No. Now days I always just vote Dale Earnhart on everything because I'm mad at Ron Paul for saying 9-11 may be an inside job.
Miller will get no money from me. I sent contributions to 4 Senate candidates: O’Donnell, Angle, Fiorina and Miller. I don’t believe in throwing good money after bad. This race is over.
Miller won the primary fair and square.
Lisa pitched a little harridan hissy fit, stomped her foot like the spoiled little girl that she is, insisted that the voters had to be mistaken in rejecting HER magnificence, and pulled this stunt.
Her pigeons will come home to roost sooner or later, hopefully, sooner.
Right now the write-in votes TOTAL 13,000 more than Miller's votes. THERE ARE ALSO 30,000 ABSENTEE BALLOTS TO BE COUNTED, MOST OF WHICH ARE MILITARY. THE MILITARY VOTING PRICINCT DATA IS SHOWING 70%+ for Miller.
There are also 160 registered write-in candidates, so it's not even safe to assume 13,000 for lisa.
And finally, the military absent voters are mostly deployed overseas where Murkowski's write-in campaign would not reach. they'll get a ballot that shows Miller(R) and McAdams(D).
Now I admit it looks like Lisa has won this, BUT IT'S not OVER YET, REALLY !
I thought that the poll workers handed out a list of the write in candidates. So we have to count the votes for people too stupid to copy?
Interesting. Cornyn seems to have a grudge vs. Lisa.
Do you think these e-mail solicitations are for real and going to the organizations and purposes they say they are? Has anyone checked for an ISP in Nigeria??
Joe Miller in Alaska is dedicated to the conservative principals we need in Washington DC.”
Conservative principals? Well, the DC schools do indeed need conservative principals, but I think Cornyn means “principles”. Don’t they have proofreaders?
