Yes. Let’s be real...Castle had a better chance for the seat IF conservatives rallied behind him in the interest of party unity. The fact is, he couldn’t win his own primary. By definition, a person who cannot win their own primary is also a weak candidate. Let’s be clear...O’Donnell would have ALSO had a better chance for the seat if the RINO centrists would have rallied to her cause, too!

That is not necessarily true.

Murkowski lost her primary and may still win the Senate. Lieberman has already done it. Losing a primary doesnt make you a weak general candidate, just makes you a weak party candidate.
