I've been watching this race (since I spend time in Corpus). Along with "Goodnight, Chet" happening in TX-17, it's great to see another entrenched Democrat lose a house seat in Texas.

I'd surmise that the retired military vote in the area was a plus for Blake Farenthold.

I’m watching TX 23. Canseco(R) ahead of Rodriguez(D) incumbent, but I find it odd that Val Verde County is reporting 0% of it’s precincts..

Finally, Val Verde has 17 of it’s 18 precincts reporting in.
Canseco only took about 40% of Val Verde County, but it was enough with the leads he had in Bexar & other Counties.

Watched the results all night and it was tight most of the time. Cameron County also kept our incumbent Republican county judge Cascos by about 80 votes.
