Republican Todd Young has defeated five-term Democratic Rep. Baron Hill in southern Indiana's 9th district, dealing Democrats a second loss in congressional seats they held in the state.

Wasn’t this one of the seats we were to look at to see how big a night the GOP was going to have?
I heard earlier in the evening that Indiana has added three pro-life votes to its delegation in the House tonight!
I don't know how big this win for the GOP was being considered, but for us it is just great to get rid of Rep. Hill.
He claimes to be a Blue Dog, but we view him as a blue snake.
This is the nut who stopped a video segment at a town hall meeting in the district after a poli-sci student had gone through the trouble and played by all the rules to get permission from Hill's own people.
He has always come off as inept yet very proud of himself.
I usedto live in Hill’s district. It flips back and forth between R and D all the time
