It doesn’t matter about how close it is. Conservatives don’t criticize Conservatives. I guess that Rove is simply an enemy of the Conservatives. I’m on the side of the tea party, and destroying Rove is on the list. We just can’t have Rove.
Of course, Castle was more to blame than Rove. We needed Castle’s moderates to hold their nose and vote for the too conservative candidate. We’ve had to hold our nose before. No more. Conservatives are mightier. No. Fight the RINOs. No making deals with the Dems. Rand Paul is in, and if there weren’t 5 other tea party candidates, he woulda been getting the hits that Christine, especially, got. But Rand Paul is right there with Jim DeMint. And other tea party candidates might turn out just as good.

But the final numbers aren't in yet though.

Yes...it's too early to proclaim a win for that Coons character. If it does turn out that the bearded Marxist/Leninist gets the most votes counted, I think Christine O'Donnell should start legal action for a possibly flawed election process. And in any event, she should not concede or act in any bipartisan toward that vile Communist.

Continue to attack Coons without mercy! Never surrender! No reaching across the aisle to the enemy!

If the actual vote turns out to be close, the blame could be laid at their feet.

The blame WILL be smashed in their faces, if it’s close.

Not that Rove cares, he’s only it for a paycheck.

Yeah....it’d be nice if ALL our candidates were Ronald Reagan (but I’m sure some here tonight would slam him for being divorced and having liberal kids)....

I've actually been told by more than a few FReepers that Reagan was no Conservative... Scary to think how extreme some have gone!

So nobody has bothered to look at DE's results page? 92% of precincts reporting - O'Donnell was annihilated 57% to 39%; that's 18%, actually WORSE than the RCP poll average.

She should sue for a recount. There are Democrat tricks everywhere, and I've had it with Freepers who want to roll over as soon as the Democrat powers that be announce that our candidate lost.

Since when did ANY Democrat accept a loss? What about Franken? Gore? The idiot who stole the election in Washington last time?

I have a question though - how did they get the ballots counted so fast.

All of Delaware uses the same electronic voting system (Danaher Controls ELECTronic 1242 Model 6T Direct Recording Electronic Voting Machine, Model 6 T). Absentee ballots aren't terribly common, as the application requires notarization.

If the margin is truly 18% then that is significant. I’m not here to hide from anything I’ve said. And it is way too big to blame Rove, et. al. entirely, although the timing of their undermining was very influential. O’Donnell’s own weaknesses clearly played a large part and her strengths were not enough to overcome them in DE.

Still, I stand strongly by the strategy of electing COD over Castle. For example, one major complaint that many voters have is that both parties are just two sides of the same coin. By electing solid constitutional Conservatives we can make a true distinction between the parties. In future elections this distinction will make much more difference IF YOU BELIEVE THAT THE MARXIST POLICIES WILL CONTINUE TO FAIL AND THINGS WILL CONTINUE TO GET WORSE.

If you don’t believe this then maybe you should be a democrat and not even claim to be a conservative. This may seem like strong language but I feel strongly about it, as do many conservatives and Tea Party types, IMO.

Time is long past trying to compromise principles to try to get elected, or to “go along to get along.” We are at war and we better fight to win.

Marxist misery or American prosperity. You choose.

As JimRob says, “Revolution is Brewing.”

Get with the game.

She should sue for a recount

Well, with 98% reporting she closed it to 56% to 40%.

Someone that lost by 16 points demanding a recount would quite possibly be the silliest spectacle in American political history.

KMA RINO lover.

Hey, if you want to make sure conservatives are the perpetual minority, go ahead. Lead the charge!

Me, I'd like to see conservatives leading the charge and in the majority, and anyone with more than blind hatred and anger can see that it will mean having support from a few less-staunch conservatives out there.

The takeover of 1994 didn't happen without "RINO" support. We didn't get SCJ Roberts and Alito and the Bush tax cuts without the votes of RINOs like Collins, Snowe and Graham.

Sorry if reality smacked that A of yours, I won't be kissing it...

And we learned exactly who Karl Rove is. And isn’t. He’s definitely not a Tea Party conservative. He’s nothing but a Big Government GOP establishment control freak and sore loser. That’s L-O-S-E-R, big “L” Loser!!

Learned something about some of our so-called conservatives on FR, too. Backstabbing sobs.

Rove is right.

Rove was wrong for bashing COD after the primary.

At least we can credit Rove for exposing the in the closet RINOs- both nationally AND on FR.

REALLY.

You're used to big states. SHE WON IN TWO OF THREE COUNTIES. And New Castle county is a corrupt Dem stronghold.

As of now, it's 56.5% to 40.1%. AND I STILL SAY: Every New Castle County ballot should be examined and re-counted. BY HAND!

No, I would have run as a third party because I know my agenda is constitutionalist while Castle’s is ruling class.

If we’re going to trade in possibilities, then there’s a possibility that Obama will have a revelation and become the second coming of Reagan, too...

Small, microscopic chance of that, but it can happen.

I prefer to trade in reality and results in the real world, not possibilities and what-ifs. Castle most likely would have stayed with the GOP, and we could be talking about Senate Majority Leader DeMint or Inhofe or Burr, rather than another few years of Senate Majority Leader Reid.

I trust my own calculations from the raw data; just a moment ago, it was 56.5% to 40.1%.

She won in two counties. New Castle should be re-counted.

Why do so-called conservatives just roll over and take it from the statists?

Mike Vanderboegh was right. When the Revolution comes, it will be fought by 3% of the country.

Yep, Rove and Fox turned what should have been a very positive night for O’Donnell into some sort of bizarre, backstabbing revenge play just because a bunch of old party hacks didn’t get their way.

You can point that out to a Rove-bot, it goes in their one ear and out the other.

The rest of us will never forget what Rove did.
