he has never revealed whether he and Levy were intimate in the nine years since her disappearance

Well I would certainly HOPE they weren't intimate during that time.

It is no ones business but hers and his... and she is dead by the hands of someone else... and this man’s life was ruined because of it. Whether he slept with her or not, is not relevant in any way.

While I have absolutely no sympathy for Condit & his attentions to Levy, probing into his intimate relations with her isn’t a part of the murder trial.

He is not on trial.

The other creep is.

While there are 2 creeps in the courtroom at one time, this is out of bounds for the prosecutor to be asking, IMO. I would not have been nearly as polite as Condit.

When defense attorney Maria Hawilo asked if he was invoking his right against self-incrimination, Condit said he would not respond because it is "not relevant"

Last I heard witnesses cannot make objections -- why wasn't the prosecuting raising relevancy?

Asked whether he would answer the question, Condit said: "We've lost our feeling for common decency. I didn't commit any crime. I didn't do anything wrong."

If he did have relations with her, he just committed perjury (if that was stated in court).

And the judge let him get away with that????????? Me or you would be sitting in a jail cited for contempt if we tried to pull a stunt like this.

Refusing to answer means yes. Everyone on the jury will see it that way. If the answer was no, he would have said no.

I’ll take that as a “YES”.

I recall that Condit and Levi were the headline on Fox and Friends at 7:30 AM on September 11, 2001. Obviously, they didn’t stay in the headlines that horrible day.

Levy, 24, vanished in 2001. Her remains were found more than a year later in Washington's Rock Creek Park.
Condit was never a suspect.

Never a suspect? Am I missing something here? He was the focus of the police investigation early on ... his apartment was searched for evidence and he was questioned by the Washington, DC police.

Guandique denies the charge, and there is no physical evidence linking him to the crime, leaving prosecutors to base their case largely on an alleged prison confession.

Have not really folled this case much, but if all the prosecutor has is an alleged jailhouse confession, I would not vote guilty.

Chandra excitedly told her aunt she was having an affair with Condit and was hoping he would leave his wife and be with her, and was dreading her internship ending and having to go back home.

Condit’s sometime paramour, the flight attendant, often saw very long, curly, dark hairs (exactly like Chandra’s) around Condit’s bedroom and also knew he was seeing a girl with that hair type.

We all know he was shtupping Chandra.

Condit DARES talk about decency, does he??? He of the wife back home and interns in his bed???

Condit was never a suspect.

Then the investigators are idiots. The world was closing fast around Condit. His story line (alibi) for that day was a lie, and it was being discovered by sleuths everywhere around 9/10/2001. Luckily for Condit and not for America, the focus on him dropped out of sight the next day.

Condit was more suspicious than any potential murderer I have ever heard of, even in the cheapest budget films.

He had motive, opportunity, and plenty of biker connections. She was definitely desperate to hang on to him, and wasn't leaving her internship without trying to get a commitment from him.

Condit made her wear NO ID of any kind when she was coming to meet with him. She called her aunt and left a happy message for her the day she disappeared, saying that she had the best news! Then she looked up how to get to a section of Rock Creek Park, and left her home with absolutely no ID. She was never seen alive again.

Condit has no actual alibi for those hours. His appointment with Cheney had ended. He claimed an appointment with a reporter, but that had been the previous or a different day.

There have been all kinds of jailhouse confessions that were BS. My money is on Condidit.
