You just have no idea how difficult it is to re-establish an Indian tribe if you believe this tale. No doubt Boxer had corrupt motives, but there are many quite honest people at work today to re-establish their tribal links and bring back to life just a handful of the hundreds of tribes-nations that once existed in America.
As usual there are white people like Boxer quite willing to lie, cheat, steal and abuse Indians to serve a momentary cash gain.
You just have no idea how difficult it is to re-establish an Indian tribe if you believe this tale. While it may be very difficult for most people, it doesn't seem to have been quite so hard for (hopefully) soon-to-be ex-Senator Boxer.
