What a wonderful way to begin, what I hope will be, one helluva day! Although Texans are not alone in their love for this man, they cheered for the many who weren't there.
I will always treasure his personally giving me a thumbs up in NY as his SUV sped away. I'm sure others in the crowd thought he was looking directly at them but I will never be convinced otherwise, teehee.

He said it was made of “rip stop nylon” (??) I don’t know what that is. It was very heavy. He had a good chuckle of them trying to “wave” it.
The person next to him was a five foot tall Latina female sailor. She held her own! :)
