People are angry at Rove because of his treatment of O’Donnell. Fine. I think he was angry O’Donnell got the nomination because he knew Castle was a lock for the seat and it was a mistake for him to say anything.

But look at who he has supported or opposed with large sums of money:

Rove puts his money where his mouth is, and it has helped a lot of Republican candidates, conservatives included.

Thanks for that link, good information. I think Rove’s gotten enough grief for that one incident the night O’Donnell won. If being honest is such a crime, we’ve come to a pretty low place. Sure, maybe he shouldn’t have done so in that place, at that time, so forcefully, but ultimately, so what? I’ve never been one to support anyone just because they have an R. That’s for the robots.

On balance, Rove has done more good for my country than bad, and I’ve had enough of the whining about one incident.
