It seems obvious, but it's not for the people over at the times. The NYT is so used to controlling the message that they don't know what to do when they face competition in the marketplace. Recently the NYT's editorial board's reaction to intense media competition has been to become more unhinged and less balanced in their presentation. With reactions like this, MSM enterprises are loosing value fast. Is it any wonder that Newsweek sold for a dollar?

... the biggest spender was the union of American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees. These were the Klowns who were holding banners saying, "Government Does Not Suck" at Komedy Central's Kommie Klownfest yesterday.
