FRESNO, Calif. -- Elections officials in Fresno County say hundreds of thousands of voters are getting ballots that incorrectly describe the ballot measure that would suspend the state's greenhouse gas emissions law.
The county's 380,000 voters are being issued ballots that characterize Proposition 23 as requiring "major polluters" to report and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
A Sacramento judge threw out that wording earlier this year, and ordered the language to be changed from "major polluters" to "major sources of emissions."

With all the ballot problems across the country, it seems like they go from town to town and hire the village idiot to do ballot work..
Don't do it.
Quite often:
gov’t worker = village idiot
I received a robocall tonight from some unnammed “inter-faith” group to vote no on 23 to fight “pollution.”
Yeah, that terrible CO2 “pollution.”
I’ll crawl on broken glass if necessary to vote YES on 23.
Already voted for it, I only regret it is temporary and not permanent.
You don’t know the half of it. I live in Fresno. The Registrar of Voters, due to budget cuts, had to cut back on polling places this time around. However, one of the candidates for supervisor had a flying cow, accusing Salazar of disenfranchising voters in her district (includes poor area). So what does Salazar do? He sets up SPECIAL voting places AT THE LAST MINUTE for TOMORROW (Saturday) to appease Cynthia Sterling so she can round up all of her supporters to get to the polls TOMORROW in more convenient locations. It’s like a special SPECIAL election. I am so disgusted I can’t tell you.
good one :O)
This might be good news. If it doesn’t pass, this could be a reason to challenge the results.
Poor Billy Gates would have to put up another few million to try to defeat it again.
The ballot description using the phrase "major polluters" was the handiwork of our esteemed Attorney General Jerry Brown (puke be upon him).
Ah the potential silver lining.
