Does anyone remember the old “BC powders” sold in a little envelope? I used them for headaches a very long time ago. Someone told me that it was caffeine in powdered form.

Bromo!
That was awhile ago.

Gosh, Cafeine appears less toxic than plain water in the right quantity. Look up death by water intoxication. We shouldn’t be too smug. It appears we failed to moron proof the White House...

That’s nothing. I drank a 64 ounce mug full of fountain energy drink before work, every day.

“Never heard of caffeine for sale in powder form, nor of anyone offering to share a bag of it they happen to be carrying around.”
I haven’t heard about caffeine either, but I HAVE heard about using high caffeine energy drinks wih alcohol.
Apparently the same idea. And not unlike the use of meth with alcohol.
At least the caffeine is not known to rot your teeth, to the same extent as meth.

BC is aspirin and caffeine ,, about the same amount of caffeine as a weak cup of coffee ,, same as Excedrin but powdered to get in your system faster.

I’m 35, and I haven’t seen Bromo since I was.. 5?
And even then it was ancient stuff.

that can sure happen
not unlike a cocaine overdose but not much superior sense of well being going on at the end
