That doesn’t make sense, the tea party is conservative, unlike libertarians.

Of course not. The Tea Party movement is a conservative movement, not a libertarian one. Big difference.

The libertarians have tried to take credit for the Tea Pary concept and its growing popularity, but they're not really fooling anyone.
