There may or may not be a tsunami. The more important question is whether there will be a conservative tsunami. Without that, we are only changing the slope of the downward spiral.

I think we know that after a “republican tsunami” we will still have a government spending tsunami, and a deficit tsunami.

Government spending is the only relevant metric, and to expect anything but more spending (marginally less “more” for republicans) is to suffer delusions.

Gridlock between Repubs and Dems is the best a conservative can expect.
