PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- President Obama's final stop was a $7,500-a-head fundraiser in the well-appointed home of Arnold "Buff" and Johnnie Chace on the East Side, not far from Brown University.

The president spoke for about 20 minutes, then left before the dinner of locally grown foods by celebrated Rhode Island chefs -- including lobster risotto -- that Mrs. Chace had planned.

---snip---

Mr. Obama concluded his remarks at about 7:30, saying he couldn't stay for dinner.

"I've got to go home to tuck in the girls and walk the dog and scoop the poop," he said.

What a fraud, what a punk. These people (however stupid to support him in the first place) paid $7500 to have DINNER with him, and did not get that. All he wanted was their money.

(I searched and didn't see this posted yet.)

Isn’t that just special. I’m sure those who spent $7500 to hear him speak are thrilled to have been in the presence of such refined dignity.

Bo is a smart dog, he doesn't want to get rabies.

How can he be faulted for wanting to go home and spoon his wife?

I’m betting the steak and lobster were not up to his current “livin’ large” standards.

He just loves kicking people in their teeth, a true punk. As far as I am concerned, they deserve it, they put the POS in office, they want to keep him there, and if continues to deficate on them, all the better from my perspective.

I have a trivia question... and it's a face value question, 'cause I don't know the answer to it:

Do muslims eat shellfish?

If I remember correctly, neither of the parents tuck in the children and you know damn well he doesn’t pick up the pop. He’s such a friggin’ liar.

So after snubbing his host at a posh event and cutting time short with big dollar donors, he gives them the “I’m a regular guy” routine

"How can he be faulted for wanting to go home and spoon his wife?"

In the case of Moochelle, I think "ladle" would be a more apt description.

I think you almost got it.
I was trying to think of something that went with “spooning” and the size of Moochelle’s “spoon”.

he said that at 7:30 PM? What does he have, stepping pads? a teleporter?

So here's the question: did he do this as a favor to the host, eliminating the need for the Secret Service to do its food thing (whatever that might be) with the kitchen OR did he subject his host to the full monty of the presidential protection regime and then skip the meal? My money is on the latter.

Yes, Muslims can eat lobster.

A non-practicing Muslim may have heard that Muslims cannot eat animals that are scavengers, but anything that spends ALL of its time in the sea is halal.
