It has to be high speed to outrun the flying bullets.

Heck they can’t even get people to ride the people mover....

That one of the most pathetic things I have ever experienced. I actually felt embarrassed for the City of Detroit as I rode the thing. My cousin and I wouldn't even make eye contact as we rode it from Cobo to some bar on Gratiot. We just stared at the floor.

You missed a great view of the artistic paint jobs on all the boarded up windows along the route.

Detroit already has about everything stolen that it is possible to steal. This high-speed rail will get the locals out the suburbs easier and quicker where they can find more to loot and pillage.

I can’t believe Willie Green hasn’t already posted this story.

He is/was from Michigan.

Oh, that's all right. I've seen that in downtown Gary hundreds of times. I'm guessing it's about the same and I'm not missing much.

It would only be worthwhile if the high speed rail went only to each casino...thats the only reason anyone goes to Detroit...the casino’s were built for quick access to the interstate that runs through detroit...

the $160 will pay or some paper plans. Something noone will ever get to ride. This should keep a couple dozen draftsmen working for 2 or 3 years. How do you say Obama pork in muslim.

I suspect it will do more than that. I bet it will also buy up some right-of-way for some politically well-connected property at inflated prices.
