I've been reading Free Republic since September 11, 2001 and finally decided to join the patriots here earlier this year. In over 9 years of observing and, more recently, participating and donating to this worthy cause, I have not caught a whiff of anything even remotely racist here. The posting guidelines that I see explicitly state:

NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts.

And Jim Robinson's statement also makes this policy clear:

We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc.

Speaking as an ex-member of the NAACP, I can assure the racism resides in that vile organization and is absolutely NOT here on this site that stands for individual liberty without regard to race.
