After a fashion, anyway: She encourages Nancy Pelosi to debate her Republican opponent, John Dennis, and suggests that voters should take a look at him.
My good friend, SF politico and former VP Candidate [for Ralph Nader, 2008], Matt Gonzalez, has endorsed John Dennis because, as is your custom, you gutlessly refused to debate him. I am also encouraging you (once again, futilely) to not only debate John Dennis, but Gloria La Riva, too.
I like and admire both John and Gloria and support them as human beings who both have the two things that you lack but would have made you a much better person: courage and integrity.

I do think this is up there with Duke. Maybe it’s a Dem stealth tactic - send the washed up ‘activists’ over to the Repub side to pull us down that way.
The left used Cindy Sheehan probably more than anyone during the Bush Administration. Her son was proud to have served and many of her family new that.
She got sucked into the Bush made up WMD claims because the Republicans played their usual sucker game and didn’t keep telling the American people that Clinton, Gore, Kennedy, Kerry, Daschle and the rest of the lot kept telling us in the 90’s, especially 98 and 99 how dangerous Sadaam Hussein was, that we had to take military action and destroy his WMD’s.
That was all forgotten after 9-11 and when Bush’s popularity went to 90% the left wing said we can’t have that and their secret plan to take him down kicked in.
She lost her son to a cause she didn’t believe in, and it has destroyed her marriage and, I think, her sanity. She is distraught and has nothing left but grief and anger and bitterness. It is profoundly ironic that she has directed most of her hatred toward those who most value her son’s patriotism and sacrifice. I cannot imagine her loss, and I hope she finds peace.
