DOJ goes after tea partiers, leaves club-wielding Black Panthers alone
The Washington Examiner ^ | 10/20/10 | David Freddoso

Obama’s Department of Justice has suddenly turned on a dime, becoming the great pro-active protector of voters’ rights:

Poll watchers in Harris County, Texas — where a Tea Party group launched an aggressive anti-voter fraud effort — were accused of “hovering over” voters, “getting into election workers’ faces” and blocking or disrupting lines of voters who were waiting to cast their ballots as early voting got underway yesterday.

Now, TPMMuckraker has learned, the Justice Department has interviewed witnesses about the alleged intimidation and is gathering information about the so-called anti-voter fraud effort….

Terry O’Rourke, the first assistant in the Harris County Attorney’s office, told TPMMuckraker that there have been allegations of poll watchers talking to voters, which they are not allowed to do, as well as hovering over voters as they are waiting to vote. He said the complaints came from Kashmere Gardens, Moody Park, Sunnyside and other predominantly minority neighborhoods of the county.

Election fraud at black precincts is the DemocRATs' bread-and-butter.

Without it, they'd be an irrelevant third party.

They cannot allow any attempt to thwart it.

Our DOJ, besides being a joke, is a twisted gestapo headquarters. Both the DOJ and the State Department will need a cleansing from the top down, bottom up.

Dont forget to bring a video camera with you when you go to vote..
Who knows.. you might stumble on some voter fraud..

Capture it on video so it can be played..
and played and played and played and played and played over and over again..
on the internet blogs... Oh! and on YouTube....

Democrats would HATE THAT!... republican voter fraud is extremely rare..

One would think that they'd already have their hands full with the entire state of Arizona.

You know, I’ve heard about this intimidating the tea party poll watchers were allegedly doing. You mean to tell me there was NO ONE with a video camera there to record this “hovering?” I think this is just like when those congresscritters walked through the crowd in DC and claimed racist comments were made.

This is all b.s.

Simply put: The Department of Justice is racist, a direct reflection on the President.

Some lefty is going to pulls a gun, shoot several tea party observers and all hell is going to break loose.

This could give congress/Obama the reason to cancel/control election.

JMO...

How dumb can they be to piss off Darrell Issa just before he takes over?

That was a rhetorical question.

I’m a poll watcher/challenger this election in Michigan (my first time), and we are not allowed to bring in any “recording device”, but encouraged to bring cellphones, especially with email capabilities. I assume in case we need to get in touch with the law or the lawyers ASAP.

but my phone has a 10 second video recorder and camera, so I say HMMMM????

Unfreakingbelieveable.....

Illinois state law -- Sec. 17-29 (a) -- states: "No judge of election, pollwatcher, or other person shall, at any primary or election, do any electioneering or soliciting of votes or engage in any political discussion within any polling place [or] within 100 feet of any polling place."

A top Ilinois State Board of Elections official tells the DRUDGE REPORT that Mrs. Obama -- a Harvard-educated lawyer -- may have simply been ignorant of the law and thus violated it unintentionally.

"You kind of have to drop the standard for the first lady, right?" the official explained late Thursday. "I mean, she's pretty well liked and probably doesn't know what she's doing."

Clinton and Cris Krisstofferson killed the myth of the “Rhodes Scholar”.

Moochelle, A “Harvard Law School” product, who doesn’t have a clue about federal election laws, strikes me as more than a little odd. Can’t blame W on this one.

It’s no wonder her law license was revoked....

Affirmative action. A product or victum?

Quite a while back I remember spotting an “I voted” sticker on a gal’s chest in the line to vote. No need to comment on how I noticed the sticker - it just sort of stuck out. ;-)

Now I’m on dangerous ground ... yes she was ...

a blonde. ;-)

PS: Yes that’s the we spell it.
