OK, I can’t resist it.

You said you were just naming people in Kucinich’s district.

Then why not also mention senior citizens, veterans, Cleveland Indians fans, homeowners, etc.

There must be as many of each of these groups in the district as there are of people of Polish descent.

Real Clear Politics has the following results today for the House races:

Likely GOP (+6)

Leans GOP (+31)

Toss Ups (41 currently Democrat, 2 currently GOP)

Leans Dem (+2)

Likely Dem (+0)

The last number is a real bad number for the Democrats.

They have no likely gains in the Likely Democrat.

The Republicans could capture all of the Likely GOP, and Leans GOP, as well as potentially of the toss ups (given voter sentiment).

In a true disaster scenario for the Democrats, they could even lose some of the leans Democrat seats.

Right now, not countly any of the toss-ups, the GOP is only 6 seats from control of the House.

So it appears there can be a 100 seat swing in the House this election (possible, but not necessarily likely).

Commas, honey, commas MEAN something. Everything is becoming very clear to me......NO ONE KNOWS WHAT COMMS MEAN!!!

In a comma delimited list each item completes the entire sentence. That is, any one item can be used without the others and the sentence would still be correct.

So your original sentence reads "I do....it’s a bunch of DUMBASSES....except for Strongsville, they are POLISH!"

or "... they are hicks" or ".. they are union idiots" All readings are correct because you used a comma delimited list.

Now add that to the fact that your original post was "explaining" how kook got elected in the first place and it reads like a slur against any of the mentioned people.

The end result is you stated that the voters there vote for the democrat because they are Polish. Which is an untrue statement. (However if you could back up that statement with polling data etc it would resolve the problem).

When the diminutive jackass was given the heave-ho by the voters of Cleveland, he conceded defeat in a press conference in which he mimicked Nixon's 1962 remarks, "you won't have Dennis Kucinich to kick around anymore", then laughed a little too hard at his own joke. And he was the only one laughing. The real joke was yet to come.

I know very few people who voted for Kucinich however, there are many many people who are just stupid Democrats who do not know any better.

Mostly I would say that there are many people who have been programmed to be afraid of Republicans.

Being that as others have said there are a great many Poles in the area which means Catholics.

Catholics are predominately Democrats by birth (I was).

But I Catholics are educated they will find that Republicans reflect their moral values more than do the Democrats.

If you can get past the Catholics preprogramming you can easily persuade them that Republicans are a better choice at the ballot box. However if they are family you may find it a hard row to hoe.
