Mexican hit men stalk U.S.
Washington Times ^ | October 17, 2010 | Jerry Seper

Drug-smuggling gangs in Mexico have sent well-armed assassins, or "sicarios," into Arizona to locate and kill bandits who are ambushing and stealing loads of cocaine, marijuana and heroin headed to buyers in the U.S., the Department of Homeland Security has warned Arizona law enforcement authorities.

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, whose county includes the valley, told The Washington Times earlier this month that Mexican drug cartels have posted scouts on the high points around the valley to control movement in the area. He said they have radios, optics and "night-vision goggles as good as anything law enforcement has."

"This is going on here in Arizona … 30 miles from the fifth-largest city in the United States," he said.

The sheriff said he asked the Obama administration for 3,000 National Guard soldiers to patrol the border, but got 15 signs along Interstate 8 instead.

One of the few things the Federal gubmit is actually constitutionally required to do, and they punt on that.

All DHS is allowed to do is “Warn” Arizona. What are they doing to stop it? Nothing except put up signs that warn American citizens not to enter parts of their own country. It wouldn’t surprise me if people took things into their own hands.

The War on Some Drugs seems to be making us less safe, rather than more safe.

Just saying.

I may not have a complete list, but I think the government is required to run a post office, manage a court system, and defend the nation.

Our post office loses money and gives poor service.
Our courts are run by activist judges who think they belong to the legislative branch.
And our borders are far from secure.

And all the unConsttutional stuff which the government does is also done poorly.

If I had my way in this wicked world
If I had my way
I would tear this old building down

Mexico is nothing more than a narco-state. We ought to seal that border and shoot anyone who tries to scale the wall. Then, we ought to help the president of Mexico understand that we will not tolerate his running a narco-state on our border. I live in Honduras — a wonderful, peaceful country — six months a year, and I can tell you that the existence of Mexico (and now, Venezuela, with Obama’s buddy Chavez there) as a narco-state imperils all of Latin America,

But, that, of course, is precisely what Obama and Chavez want.

It wouldn’t surprise me if people took things into their own hands.

Look at the s#!t storm AZ's government has caught from doing that, I can only imagine what 0bama and co. would do to 'the little guy' trying to defend his home.

And Gov. Brewer calls that (the 15 signs) SURRENDER! BO is waving a white flag to them.

Ask yourself this question: instead of sending hit men up to kill these guys, why not just turn their names and locations over to U.S. authorities and let our laws get them off the street. It’d be a lot cheaper and pose less risk of some kind of screw-up.

Personally, I am more interested in the mules moving back to Mexico since the only thing they carry is cash. A couple of sniper teams could cull quite a haul if they were persistent.
