Fear is a warning mechanism. Fear warns of perceived danger. That's all it does. To say it leads to anger is to admit a self-descriptive response that is usually a failing; anger is one of Judeo-Christianity's seven deadly sins. Fear is absent entirely from that list.

ENVY is the path of the dark side. ENVY leads to all manner of destructive things -- hate, desire for revenge (another path to the dark side), desctruction, suffering.
