‘Her daughter Kaliope’— now there’s a name. And how many teachers will pronounce it ‘Kall-i-ope,’ rhymes with dope, with the accent on the ‘ope.’ haha. And who would ever name your kid after a Merry-Go-Round??

Send her back. Make her pay the money back. How long was she in prison??

"Calliope" personified had some thing to do with Greek Mythology.

A "calliope" musical instrument was a steam powered organ. I think it was the History Channel that had a show on steam power - the one with Jay Leno show off his collection - and it also showed a calliope in use on the stern of a river steam paddle boat.

Kalliope is the Muse of “heroic poetry.” She is now best known as Homer’s muse, the inspiration for the Odyssey and the Illiad.
